I can’t tell you how pleased we are with the outcome of that huge roof project this Fall. It might have seemed a foolish expense and a waste to replace all those nice old boards and shingles, to end up with a roof that looked just the same as it did before. We tried blown-in insulation 10 or more years ago, and that didn’t work. But now, after 40 years – and probably lots longer – for the first time we’ve had a heavy snow cover, and cold weather, but lo and behold, no icicles on the front of the house, no damp spots inside, or ice running down the front wall of the house!
